we’re going to see a lot of conservative legislation the next two years. the only way to stop from slashing and burning the social safety net in the name of o-sterity will be by progressive filibuster. we can probably pull together 40 people to maintain that.

I doubt Obama’s birth certificate is legitimate because I believe Obama is an immortal. It will soon be the time of the Gathering where the remaining immortals have to fight for the prize as there can be only one. I would guess being President would give Obama a really big advantage in that fight.

The other day Lizz W. was a guest on Nicole Sandler (in for Randi) and she gave Sam a nice “plug” (although didn’t actually mention the show).
They were saying emphatically that “it wasn’t the programming” that brought AAR/M down but the crookedness and/or ineptitude of executives and money ppl. (I mean…DUH! but as Sam has said there’s been bunking to the contrary that needs to be debunked.)
Anyhow in the middle of saying “It wasn’t the programming,” Lizz said, “I mean COME ON–[somebody else's name I don't remember, not Janeane], SAM SEDER” She said it in all caps, like that. Maybe small caps, but still caps.
Anyhow, that was nice.

You know Randi wasn’t thrilled with that…she’s still pissed that when Sam was defending her he said he didn’t really like her humor (or she wasn’t funny or something to that affect.)
