Guests: Filmmaker Josh Fox & Matt “The conservative from Twitter”

On this episode of The Majority Report, Sam starts the show by calling out some Democrats for their violent rhetoric like Joe Manchin and Paul Kanjorski while trying not to pass out from Dorsey’s Cologne Overload.

Seder then goes back in time to talk about Blood Libel while highlighting that the people that are the happiest about the Palin-implosion is the GOP.

Up next, Gasland, director Josh Fox discusses the film and the health and environmental dangers of the current nationwide frenzy to drill for natural gas, AKA hyrdofracking. Fracking is a process to release natural gas by pumping millions of gallons of water mixed with chemicals and sand at high pressure thousands of feet underground to create fissures.  These chemicals are mixing with the ground water – and the effects can be seen in the picture below:

Gasland can be found on Netflix or Amazon.

Wrapping things up, Seder gets back into the groove of embarrassing conservatives with facts and reason while debating Twitterer Matt (anonymous by request) about the difference between gun sights with the slogan “Don’t Retreat.  Reload.” and using the word “target” in a political post on Daily Kos.  Matt tries to tie some of Obama’s words to violence, but not all that convincingly. This was only a warm up for Sam because Matt was pretty levelheaded and agreed that the violent rhetoric should stop no matter what side it came from.  We’re still looking for a new Dewey.

And in the soon to be sequestered After Show Sam lets his hair down, does some surveying and takes IMs from listeners – be sure to become a Majority Report Member to support the show!
