The Majority Report continues its coverage of the unrest in Egypt:

Violence spreads as the pro-Mubarak “thugs” enter Tahrir Square.

Egyptian PM Ahmad Shafiq apologizes for violence.

Sharif Kouddous, a producer at Democracy Now! is going to spend the night in Tahrir Square and Tweeted this today:

There appears to be a crackdown on journalists. We almost got thrown out by army people walking past a checkpoint on outskirts of Tahrir

Journalists are being beat, stabbed, and getting their camera equipment stolen.

CNN contributor Erick Erickson spews some bullshit out on Red State:

We cannot blame Barack Obama for Egypt collapsing in on itself.

We can however blame Barack Obama for failing to mitigate and control the impact of the collapse.

Gee… wonder why CNN’s ratings are in the toilet – they think guys like this are “neutral.” If anyone wants this kind of commentary they are already watching Fox News.
