Guest: Author and journalist Will Bunch

Today Sam introduces a new technology to get the word out about The Majority Report on Twitter! Donate a Tweet a month, a week, or day to promote The Majority Report! Just click Donate Your Account, link up your Twitter and set the level you want to donate. Then Sam and team will choose a Tweet and re-Tweet it through your account to reach even more people about MR! This makes it super simple especially if you were already re-Tweeting the MR messages.

The Majority Report continues its coverage of the unrest in Egypt:

Violence spreads as the pro-Mubarak “thugs” enter Tahrir Square.

Egyptian PM Ahmad Shafiq apologizes for violence.

Sharif Kouddous, a producer at Democracy Now! is going to spend the night in Tahrir Square and Tweeted this today:

There appears to be a crackdown on journalists. We almost got thrown out by army people walking past a checkpoint on outskirts of Tahrir

Journalists are being beat, stabbed, and getting their camera equipment stolen.

CNN contributor Erick Erickson spews some bullshit out on Red State:

We cannot blame Barack Obama for Egypt collapsing in on itself.

We can however blame Barack Obama for failing to mitigate and control the impact of the collapse.

Gee… wonder why CNN’s ratings are in the toilet – they think guys like this are “neutral.” If anyone wants this kind of commentary they are already watching Fox News.

Product DetailsWill Bunch, author of the book The Backlash: Right-Wing Radicals, High-Def Hucksters, and Paranoid Politics in the Age of Obama and blogger at Attytood joins Sam to discuss how the TV News is prepping for the Reagan 100 year birthday “love-in” and busts many of the Reagan myths that will be spouted by talking heads during this time.

Listen to the interview with Will Bunch.

Watch “Government’s Pre-Super Bowl Seizure Of Sports-Streaming Sites” from the SammyCAM!

Finally on today’s Post Show Sam takes listener IMs and explores Myla’s continuing Dorsey-infatuation.

Tomorrow is Casual Friday!

  7. “What a false label this “Pro-Mubarak Protesters” term is! These disrupters are nothing more or less than Mubarak’s own state police/secret police force (who happen to be the ones with the horses and camels trained to enter crowds). The longer Mubarak and his police forces (which outnumber the military) are left in control. the more oppression/repression and retaliation murder of Egyptian “progressives” will take place. ”
