Guest: Journalist Chris Hayes

Breaking News! Because of the listeners generous donations, Sam will be traveling to Madison, WI this weekend to give us reports at the heart of the middle class movement.

After last night’s vote, it is finally clear that the mess in Wisconsin was only about killing the political and economic power of the working and middle class. This has nothing to do with the budget. But we already knew that.

Below is the video of the shady dealings that the Republicans in Wisconsin pulled last night and how the one Democrat did his best to stop it.

Think Progress has some background on how what you just saw in that video violates the state’s Open Meeting Law.

The Nation‘s Washington, DC Editor Chris Hayes joins Sam to discuss the two Americas, his new article in The Nation titled Why Washington Doesn’t Care About Jobs and also weighs in on the latest developments in Wisconsin.

Death threats and protesters have delayed the official voting on the WI labor-busting bill into this afternoon.

Will all this tip the scales on the Wisconsin Supreme Court elections on April 5th? And will Walker try to push this through even quicker to make sure it doesn’t go up against a Democratic tilted SC?

Wisconsin recall bid picking up steam.

Sam says David Dayen is reporting a lot of news from WI and he is worth checking back with often on Firedoglake.com.

Naomi Klein was on with Rachel Maddow about Republicans using economic crises (real or ginned up) as an excuse to push through radical conservative and corporate agenda items.

Breaking – It looks like the controversial bill to strip college student’s voting rights in New Hampshire is dead for now.
