  4. David Fazzino says:

    Well, that got reaaaaaaaaaally weird.

    • Nobody says:

the weird part is that it’s not really far from the unspoken truth of what goes on in the heads of a LOT of the right wing…

  5. holy shit this is funny

  6. Just in from BoldProgressives.org, and hopefully NOT an April Fool…

BREAKING NEWS: Wisconsin Democrats just announced that local activists submitted over 100% of the signatures needed to “recall” Republican state senator Dan Kapanke from office!

After local officials certify the signatures, a new election will be scheduled for Kapanke’s seat. Today’s news gives huge momentum to our campaign to hold Wisconsin Republicans accountable for their war on workers.

Now’s the time to ramp up the grassroots pressure against Wisconsin Republicans — and your help is needed this weekend!

Next Tuesday, April 5, voters will choose the swing vote on the state Supreme Court. Whoever wins this election will be the deciding vote on whether Governor Walker’s anti-union bill is legal or not.

    • That’s two Senators so far. They have all the sigs for Hopper and now Kapanke.

I’d like to see them get enough sigs for that Old fart Senator that was on MSNBC all the time, Calling the protesters slobs,

    heh!

i watch a movie at the same time as this MR segment.

    i live for the irony.

  8. I probably shouldn’t post this after hearing Sam quoting mhappenow “don’t click on any links,” but…

If you have a Roku box, you might like to add the “private” channel Nowhere TV to your line-up. Nice selection of free streams there (f’rinstance Al Jazeera English, BBC, RTE and 9 more in International).

    Debaser! Nice…

  10. JimmyJamesJr says:

Jeez, there are a lot of “Jims” on this thread. I may have to change my handle!

  11. Tom Campbell says:

    Sam –

On your April 1st show you brought up the fact that GE didn’t pay any corporate federal income tax for 2010 and quipped that we would not be hearing about it on MSNBC. While it hasn’t been front page news, Lawrence O’Donnell did a segment on it on his March 25th broadcast of “The Last Word”. I also remember Rachel Maddow mentioning it more than a week ago, although I wasn’t able to find the video. A brief scan of the MSNBC website brings up two mentions on the NBC Nightly News, three mentions on CNBC, and the two mentions on MSNBC by O’Donnell and Maddow.

    Keep up the good work.

    Thanks.

    Tom in Honolulu

    • Dr. Radmanthys says:

What’s your point Tom? I guess people shouldn’t become MR members because the corporate media is just as good? Sam was saying this to try to drive up membership.
