Guests: US Uncut Organizer Duncan Meisel and Movieline’s Chris Rosen
It’s Casual Friday! Sam may be out enjoying the Red Sox home opener today, but it doesn’t mean we haven’t set up two great interviews for you. We’re always planning ahead!
Today we have Moveline.com Senior Editor Chris Rosen (@42inchTV) on…and he’s FINALLY reviewing ‘Who’s The Caboose?’
Then we have a great interview with US Uncut organizer, Duncan Meisel.

11:38 am
Hello. Anybody home?
11:42 am
Surprised to see a Tweet about the show, but then it isn’t on. I guess with Sam gone, no need to hear it “live” since it’s not live. Will download the podcast later.
12:51 pm
Hey Linda!
The show isn’t live today, but we put it up to download at 11:30am, just as if the show was going live. The tweet was pretty much to let everyone know the show was up.
1:31 pm
Hi Matt. (I’m guessing it’s you.) Yes, I finally figured that out.
Opened i-Tunes a little bit after posting and it was available to download. Thank you! Hope you enjoy some time off with Sam gone.
1:53 pm
Matt, if this is you, when you redo the Web site, can you keep Wesbite somewhere? Wes Bite could be a person, or Wes Bites could be a section. Maybe outtakes, or other goofups.

Infographic from USUncut:
Corporate Tax Cheats Are Bankrupting America
Here’s a handy infographic that ties specific corporate tax cheats to specific cuts that affect all of us. If these corporations paid their fair share, we could uncut these budgets.
This is essentially living proof that there’s hay in the barn, but we’re not feeding the horses. Share this with everyone you know as we get closer to tax day, and feel free to use the embed code at the bottom.

Reefercake’s theme song for Chris Rosen got a big grin from me.
Good on you, Jimmy
12:59 pm
Why thank you cat chew! sounds like catch you.
I reviewed Whose the Caboose at Amazon.com and it is awaiting approval.
I found it very enjoyable. It had the feel of a “Best in Show”, a reality spoof with a bunch of comedians, crazy agents and Hollywood types, some sort of quirky Jewish cliques, people getting drunk. A lot of funny moments, the aggressive agent who shakes Sam’s hand while he is trying to take a piss, the woman who is in tears because of Sara Silverman’s arm hair. I would have liked to see more pot references throughout. I would have made it more realistic. The aggressive agent should have been snorting coke, but why split hairs, it is worth the watch, and streaming for free on Netflix right now!
1:38 pm
Catch you, or cachoo! like a sneeze.
I can’t believe I have to wait until the 14th to stream free from Netflix. I am on a legacy subscription they don’t even offer anymore for $5.95 a month. Two mailed movies and 5 hours of streaming each month and I’ve used it up already.
(I am not that cheap, just broke and poor.)
Caboose sounds hilarious. It is really too bad it didn’t get the proper marketing and promotion when it was first made. Like Sam said though, I guess if you didn’t have the connections already, you didn’t have a chance. Sounds like how everything else is too.
1:49 pm
Hi Jimmy! It was fun to hear you on the call in yesterday. Can’t wait to hear your new songs – news in review or whatever it is going to be. You can get your name in there more than once with lyrics like “win me beef or cake!” Or, you can just tell Sam that’s what it was.
2:02 pm
Linda, you are a genius. I am making a mental note “win me beef or cake”

A happy day off for Sam, I’m guessing…

Red Sox get their first win of the season, and against the hated Yankees, at that.
2:43 pm
Jesus christ, Chris Rosen — its A Woman Under the Influence, not “A Woman on the Verge” — if you don’t know the difference between John Cassavetes and Pedro Almodovar, what are we to make of you and Movieline.com?
Though as Sam says, its not “Cinemaline.com”…. But, seriously… sheesh.
