  1. Sam Seder’s Majority Report is like having my own private, personal news service, providing discourse with professional journalists uncorrupted by corporate filtering and soundbite time frames!

MR’s high standard of excellence, relevance, and detail is priceless, and saves me thousands of dollars and hours of wasted time and money fooling with lame-stream media sources to keep me informed of current events!

What’s more, Majority Report is a vehicle for going beyond slactivism, and inspires members to actually engage with current events and shape their outcomes!

Once you experience the Majority Report, you can never go back to armchair media-for-dummies!

An informative site for the real truth. To bad the red side does not know how to read.

    Hey Sam,
I really love the podcast, it’s a brilliant antidote to the rest of the crappy “news” thats floating around. I’m unable to become a full member, but I just wanted to say thanks so much for what you’re doing, you provide an invaluable service. Happy Holidays! That’s right, I said it.

  6. Kim Kaufman says:

Well, it does ask for my email. And I feel really creepy about putting down my income. I know it will help if I do it. Will it help if I lie??? I don’t like lying. Wish I could help.

  7. Cerebral Vortex says:

OK, I filled-out and submitted the survey, no e-mail address. Hope it helps.

Have the same concerns as Kim about the income question. I’m thinking I would need to lie on that for it to help :} I am now at least getting comments on the MR links I put on FB thru DYA. Hopefully at some point someone will share them as well… (I really just did my local occupation to be able to promote MR more effectively, doncha know.)

Some political blog sites that I read regularly have similar surveys, always asking about income and often much more detailed as to consumer behavior ( ie. Have you bought airline tickets, music, books, online in the past month….?), but not asking for an email address. I do fill them out because I know everyone needs sponsors or ads in this business. Anyway, most of us have a separate email account for registrations so that our private mail isn’t bombarded with unwanted messages.

Don’t forget to order some Just Coffee, maybe some MR swag if you can afford it.

I just hope this is not how they track me down when they open up the internment camps!

But, Sam, this is a dangerous game. Ever notice how many weird oil company ads there on MSNBC’s nighttime line up?
My subjective perception is that those shows don’t talk much about global climate change…but maybe I’m wrong.

  13. Verena Stresing says:

    Dear Sam,
I love your show and I will become a member as soon as I get over my trust issues with PayPal. I also wanted to fill out the survey to support MR, but here’s my problem: what do you do if put in front of the choices: single, never married; married; divorced or separated; widowed, with no option to just leave a blank?? My divorce is so long ago, it isn’t even relevant anymore, I guess I was separated for a time, I am definitely not single, I don’t intend to get married any time soon, or ever for that matter, and I therefore can never be widowed. I mean, sorry, but are there no other options in the US? And don’t even get me started on the household income issue. How do you even compare European and US incomes? Net income, before or after utilities? Should I add to it what I don’t pay in health insurance every month, since I live in socialist France? Oh well, at least I wasn’t asked who was the “chef de famille” in my household, as it happens here in France.
