This is horrible – all I could think of was the Dunblane shooting, which was part of the news coverage this summer when Andy Murray (who had hidden under his school desk at age 9 during this shooting) was playing Wimbledon – very similar.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunblane_school_massacre

Like Dunblane, Newtown is a small community. The worst was listening to the Dunblane parents, including Murray’s mother, describe how terrible it was to feel relieved your child was okay but your neighbor’s had been killed, and the continuing pain to the community still 20 years later.

I know we don’t know anything yet, but this feels like that shooting in Norway.

So weird — earlier in the show today, Sam said something about having kids around (meaning Mila) for the past five or six or seven years (or something like that), and I wondered at that very moment if he and Nikki were going to have more kids. I swear! And then Janeane comes on with the great news!

I’ll be supplying lotto numbers later….

  16. Congradulations to the Seder Family! Great news!

  17. Say, Kids – in case anyone of AUTHORITY reads these ditties… I’m still getting your Twitter do’s, but haven’t been getting your Facebook do’s for a week/more. Is it you? Or Facebook? I’m pretty sure it isn’t me. What say thee?

  18. P.S. Congratulations on the impending Boyo. Name Suggestion: Not after me.

    Sincerely,

    Farty Shitty McFucko
