This photo, submitted into evidence as part of the lawsuit, shows Councilmember Rodriguez’s arrest on the night of the NYPD’s Zuccotti Park raid. A TIME magazine source allegedly told Rodriguez’s lawyer that a city official successfully pressured the magazine to remove the photo.

  4. Just heard Romney’s quote. My dad spent most of his working life in the public sector – directing a food bank and other similar jobs. I couldn’t begin to ask him for money to start a business. I send him money every month because he can’t afford to retire.
Romney doesn’t have a fucking clue how the real world works. It boils my blood that morons in this country would actually vote for him and against their own interests.

Occupy May Day protests could block roads, shut down ferry service featuring Chris Hayes

May Day protests may disrupt the morning commute in major U.S. cities Tuesday as labor, immigration and Occupy activists rally support on the international workers’ holiday.

Demonstrations, strikes and acts of civil disobedience are being planned around the country, including the most visible organizing effort by anti-Wall Street groups since Occupy encampments came down in the fall.
