2/20 John Nixon: Interrogating Saddam Hussein

February 20, 2017

John Nixon, a former CIA analyst who was tasked with interrogating Saddam Hussein, joins us today to discuss his book, “Debriefing the President: The Interrogation of Saddam Hussein.” How John began studying Iraq for the CIA in the late 90’s. The amount of attention the CIA paid to regime change in Iraq during the Clinton admin. How John knew Saddam was a target for 9/11 the following day. How Iraq was a product of both the Bush and separate neoconservative agendas. How Saddam in 2002 was more concerned with delegating rule and writing literature.
