Show Thread: Report from Port Shutdowns, Education Inequality & Clown Car Race

December 14, 2011

“If I were a Poor Black Kid”  starts Sam off today.  He talks about the education inequality in American and what the article really says.  Also, our guest today Ustreamer J’Tao (@punkboyinSF) tells his account of West Coast Port actions yesterday and talks about where the movement heads from here.

In the better half, should we be surprised that that ELRAD profits are booming? Occupy Wall Street & Progressive Congressional Congress meeting is scuttled,  Mitt Romney visits Worcester, MA and gets more than he planned for and Sam talks about what education policy makers are really doing to our public schools.   Trump bows out of Republican Primary debate and Libertarian caller tries to make his case.

Use this post as today’s thread.  The Listen Live box (above right) will turn dark blue as we go live at 11:30 am EST.  If you’re on an internal page, the Listen Live box is to the left.
